Cots and cot beds

With such choice of cots and cot beds out there, it can be hard to choose what is best; there are many things to consider, such as size, cost and how long you plan on using it for.

A cot will probably be your baby’s bed until they are two or three years old. They can be used from birth, although a newborn baby can look a little bit lost in a big cot. Most parents choose a Moses basket, crib or carrycot for the first few months of baby’s life. This way they can keep baby close to them and baby looks more comfortable. Bear in mind that it is recommended that baby sleeps in the same room as you for the first 6 months so you need to consider space as well. Read more…

It’s all about communication

A baby’s primary means of communication is crying. This continues for a few months as they start to pick up words. Crying is ways of letting their parents know they need something.
